The South Central
Wisconsin (SCW) chapter
of the US Young Marines
is the brain child of MCL Badger Detachment Commandant Timothy
Baranzyk.
First conceived in
2002, SCW has been
growing in popularity in the Waukesha county community through the
efforts of several Badger
Detachment and US Marine
members. Commandant Baranzyk's primary mission has been to
help youth realize their fullest academic and physical fitness
potentials, ensuring broad based career paths, and upholding the
highest respect for God, our country, and the community.
*** We do not recruit for the Marine Corps, don't teach weapons or combat
tactics.

Members of the
Marine
Corps League
join together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of
preserving the traditions of our county, and promoting the interests of the
community -- mainly, our youth.
We are
committed to:
-
Advocate
drug free lifestyle
-
Keep
kids away from gangs and closer to family, community
-
Enhance
youth future through education and discipline
-
Promote
mental, moral, physical member development
-
Instill
American ideals of honesty, respect, loyalty, love of country

The
Youth Is Our Future:
It's a tough world out
there, are kids ready for it? What peer pressures do they
encounter and must overcome on a daily basis? Why don't kids
focus on their education, what's really their motivation?
If you've asked that
question, then consider that the US
Young Marines can help reinforce those critical
values that will help kids to attain certain success in the
future.
